Bali Set To Shine In Medical Tourism
Bali will soon have its best and finest hospital yet. Currently being built in Sanur, it is scheduled to be completed in April 2017. According to Bali’s Governor, Made Mangku Pastika, who told Metrobali.com, the new hospital will not only serve foreigners, but will prioritize medical care and attention to Bali’s most underprivileged and poor.
“This International Hospital will not only serve foreigners, but is specifically meant for our under-privileged families who become sick but need the finest care,” the Governor told the DPR members on Thursday, April 14, 2016.
The Governor was recently on tour to inspect the hospital’s construction site along with members of the Bali House of Representative and had made orders for priority to be given to the completion of the “Class III” hospital rooms so that the hospital can begin to assist the least able. This is in line with the Governor’s desire to serve and care for Bali’s poorest. The hospital will also act as a magnet for Medical Tourism in Bali, and will be staffed with highly qualified medical staff drawn from across Indonesia.
The Governor also announced plans for another hospital to be build adjacent to the Mandara International Hospital, which will specifically care for cancer patients.
